5th Indonesia Performing Arts Mart (IPAM)

Solo City, Central Java, 3 - 7 June 2009

The 5th Indonesia Performing Arts Mart was initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Republic of Indonesia and officially opened by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, H.E. Jero Wacik. There were more than 20 performing arts groups with more than 200 artists showcasing their latest works during IPAM 2009. Hundreds of presenters attended the event including 30 foreign delegates who came from Australia, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Slovakia, UK and the USA. IPAM offered a unique opportunity for globally interactive agents in the performing arts industry to become acquainted with this exotic, richly faceted, singular culture, and to boost international cultural exchange programs.
