EASTERN REGIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION CONFERENCE

Nusa Dua, Bali, 16-20 September 2018

The National Institue of Public Administration, Republic of Indonesia hosted the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) Conference 2018 at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. The main theme of this conference was “Public Administration in Managing Global Megatrends: People Public Services, Institutions, and Ethics”. The conference was attended by individuals and groups of public administration students, experts, scholars and practitioners within and beyond Asia and the Pacific region, to present academic papers and share their insights and experiences on PA and governance and its contribution to regional and global megatrends. The organizing committee had also invited government officials, as well as representatives of various stakeholder groups to share their views and insights on the management of these megatrends. Officially opened by the Indonesian Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, H.E Syafruddin, the conference was attended by 350 participants from different countries including Indonesia, The Philippines, Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Iran, Nepal, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Australia, Liberia, Cambodia and South Africa. On the last day of the event, the participants were invited to join the field trips to Presidential Palace in Tampak Siring and Miniature of Indonesia at Taman Nusa in Sidan.
