Workshop on “Heritage Tourism in East Nusa Tenggara: Synergizing an Action Plan to Develop Heritage Tourism in East Nusa Tenggara”

Labuhan Bajo, 10 – 13 June 2009

The objectives of the workshop are to promote the conversation of nature heritage in considering heritage tourism policy and practices in East Nusa Tenggara, and to encourage real commitments and possible joint-program for development of heritage tourism in East Nusa Tenggara.

There are 60 participants from the stakeholders related to tourism specifically in Flores Island – East Nusa Tenggara, which consist of policy makers at provincial and local levels, academicians, non-governmental organizations and tourism cooperation.

This event was held by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in cooperated with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
