Workshop and Technical Visit to Promote Pacitan - East Java as Tourist Destination

Pacitan Regency, East java, 15 – 16 July 2009

The workshop on promoting the Regency of Pacitan, East Java, as tourist destination was held from 15-16 July 2009.

The workshop ended up with social activities including technical visits to some tourist sites including Goa Gong. The event was conducted by the Directorate General of Tourist Destination Development, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with the local authority of Pacitan.

The committee invited 11 speakers and instructors from Jakarta, Bali, Yogyakarta, Surakarta and Surabaya. The event was attended by more than 200 participants from several regions in East Java.
